The room had a great lake view! 🥰 However, it was not clean, with dead bugs and a used sanitary napkin in the trash. Not worth the price for what we got.

I had a rather disappointing experience during my stay. The air conditioning in the room was ineffective, making it quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the breakfast options were sparse and unappetizing, featuring burnt sausages and canned fruits. To top it all off, maintenance issues like poor ventilation and moldy curtains really detracted from my overall enjoyment.

my recent stay was delightful with clean rooms and very friendly staff. The breathtaking views of the lake made my morning walks super enjoyable, and I loved that I could easily explore nearby attractions like Hells Gate and the scenic Okere Falls Park.

We really enjoyed our stay at VR Rotorua Lake

Resort, where the peaceful lakeside location made for a perfect retreat. While the service was generally excellent, we found the check-in process a bit lackluster. The standout feature was the evening meals at the restaurant, which we truly relished.

The views of the lake were truly magnificent, making for a stunning backdrop during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the afternoon tea, which was a delightful experience. However, the cleanliness of our room left much to be desired, as we encountered a few maintenance issues. Additionally, the staff seemed stretched thin, which affected the overall service experience and responsiveness.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic! Plenty of options to choose from, and the views while eating were very nice, it’s a great way to start the day. The staff went above and beyond when we need help with a late checkout, really appreciated that!

Staying with a group of friends was awesome! We had such a blast riding the trails in the morning and enjoyed the local performances by the lakefront. The 14-seat fishing boat made our fishing trip unforgettable, and the staff were super accommodating. Don’t miss out on the buffet breakfast. it was delicious!

the heated pool and spa were a great bonus. the internet was tempary down.
